I was so excited to learn this week that Indianapolis will finally be getting a West Elm store.
The news inspired me to do a little browsing at West Elm online and I thought I’d show you some of my favorite finds.
I started with some of the store’s “new arrivals,” which include some snazzy textiles. I adore the Hand-Blocked Silk Terrain Tile pillow cover – shown above – which costs $39. It’s 18-inches square.
I also like the neutral tones in the textiles below:
From left: Frayed-edge quilt and shams, $29-$189; sweater knit pillow cover, $39; and faux fur throw in ombre, $119.
Of course, I love West Elm best for its furniture.
This Dunham box cushion sectional is gorgeous.
I love the clean lines and the wide chaise on the end. It looks so practical and comfortable. Here’s what West Elm says about it:
“A deep seat, tailored welting along every edge and premium down-filled cushions add up to a sectional that feels every bit as lavish as it looks.”
It would be perfect for lounging and watching television. I’d put one in my basement family room in a minute – well, save for the price. It costs nearly $3,000 in the configuration shown above.
But here are some other new West Elm furniture pieces that I like.
Above is the Victor chair in plaid wool, $799; the Loop side table, $159; and the Emerson buffet, $999.
Finally, her are a few lighting pieces that I think are pretty or interesting.
From left, the Staggered Chandelier, small, $249; Perforated Globe pendant, $149; and Linear Blown Glass Lamp, $169.
What do you think?
Do you like West Elm? And if you live in Indy, are you excited that we’ll have one in our ‘hood?
