I love when people use the colors of their home or rooms as the guide for their trees and other decor.
The heavily flocked tree looks amazing in this aqua room.
Red could have been far too harsh in this space. The white tree with turquoise accents is perfect.
Actually turquoise is a fairly common Christmas color.
Below left is the small Christmas tree in my guest room. It’s an inexpensive white tree I got at Target and is decorated with various shades of turquoise and blue – plus a tiny bit of pink. Below middle is a great DIY project from Better Homes and Gardens and at right is more traditionally-decorated tree with turquoise that was featured in Southern Accents magazine.
I love the use of pink at Christmas. It seems so fresh and modern and of course feminine and sweet. Both the images below are from BHG.
Below left is a wreath I found at HGTV (submitted by viewer Rachel Wallis). In the middle is a great tablescape from HGTV as well. At below right is my porch tree as it was decorated last year. It's mostly copper with some bright green accents to go with the orange and green theme on my porch.
Below left is a tree done up in yellow to match a room featured in Cottage Living and on MyHomeIdeas.com. I love purple at Christmas the the ribbon in the photo below middle looks great in the peacock feature wreath, which I found at HGTV.
Finally, below right, is a crazy tree I found at BHG that uses orange tulips and tiny blue china to blend into a blue room.
