I'm kind of a sucker for monograms -- always have been.
I try to pick and choose, though. A little bit goes a long way when you're talking about personalization.
Still, I just had to feature the Etsy shop called Letter Perfect Designs, where artisan Peggy sells pillows with gorgeous monograms made from buttons.
Check out the L for Lesley pillow at left. It's $45.
"Using creamy vintage mother of pearl or newer buttons in pink, red, blue, green, brown or black, I can do single letters, words or monograms in just about any letter style," Peggy says on her Etsy site. "Needle-felted letters and designs are made using 100 percent wool and recycled felt. Looking for something different? Birds, butterflies, dragonflies and dogs also available."
I love the Tree of Life pillow below right. It's made with vintage buttons and costs $70.
Also at right is the black and white toile "R" pillow for $48 and a brown linen with an "S" monogram for $45. Wouldn't the latter be sweet for a little girl's room?
