The
Stutz Artists Association in
Indianapolis will kick off the holiday
shopping season Friday with its annual exhibition and sale.
Visitors can view the works of approximately 40 artists
while mingling, enjoying light refreshments and listening to music – all in one
room at the historic Stutz building.
This is a great way to avoid Black Friday. Don't go to the
mall after Thanksgiving! Go to the Stutz the Friday before for great gifts,
including paintings, metal sculptures, jewelry, cards and custom portraits. The
works will be displayed and sold in a single gallery from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Also, small (6-inch-by-8-inch) original, one-of-a-kind
paintings by many of the artists (see the Halcyon Motors by Karen Land above) will be available for $100 each as a fundraiser for Brooke’s Place , a
nonprofit organization providing grief and loss support groups and counseling
for children and their families. Stutz artists are contributing 50 percent of
the proceeds from their work for this effort.
