The Project Nursery blog
is one of the premier places to go on the web for ideas about baby and
kids' rooms. It's got great do-it-your projects, photo galleries of
inspiring nurseries and features "real rooms"to help you realize what's possible.
Last week blog writer Melisa showed readers the fantastic idea she's incorporated into her son's "real" room, turning part of the closet into a desk area that saves space and looks fantastic.
"The room is on the small side and as you can see, the closet takes up an entire wall," Melisa writes in the post. "Now this would be a big plus if it were a teenage girls room but considering that my son’s clothes are just 2T, one side of the closet will suffice."
She used a great grommet-top curtain and the elfa closet system to make the closet work.
Read more about the room and see a photo of a similar idea in her daughter's room here.
