This is another gorgeous house in the Irvington area of Indianapolis, where historic homes abound. The owners of this place, which is on the market for a mere $185,000, have done a great job spicing it up with a beautiful color palette. Thanks to Realtor Randy Worrell for making the photos available.
Sometimes I think it's tough to paint every room in a home a different color and still make it cohesive, but these folks have shown how well it can be done.
I think it's because the shades they've chosen are similar in tone and almost act as neutrals. Other than in the pretty blue bathroom, none of the colors are especially vibrant or bold -- just beautiful. And the white trim throughout the house really sets off the color, making it seem sharp and clean. Very inspirational.
