You can take a look at the homes that will be part of the New Home Showcase, hosted by the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis, before the decorating takes place at The Dusty Boots preview this Sunday.
The event - from noon to 4 p.m., July 12 - is free and open to the public. It includes homes in the $350,000 to $550,000 price range that are in The Lakes at Towne Road in Carmel. Street parking is available.
It’s a great
time to talk with the individual builders about the construction
details of each home (like the BiltRite home, top right, or the Silverthorne home at bottom) before they are decorated and opened for the Showcase tour Aug. 22-Sept. 7. The event, from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, is free and open to the public. Street parking is available.
To get to the community, from I-465 take the Michigan Road exit. Head north on Michigan Road to 116th St. Turn right (or east) onto 116th St , continuing through the traffic circle. Turn left (or north) on Towne Road . Follow Towne Road to 136th St. and the subdivision entrance.
